You don't need to open the door to set the cooking time, but you do need to open it if you want to set a countdown timer without cooking anything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not have to open the door in order to set the timer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The ' Timer ' behind door. This is a modern Neo microwave. I was sceptical at first. I am Very HAPPY I did. No regrets. You have to see it in person to enjoy this appliance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think people are confusing 2 different functions when answering this question. There is a "Timer" which does nothing other than count down from the time you set it; no microwaving is done with just the "Timer" set. In order to set the "Timer," you DO have to open the door to set it. If you want to heat something, you (of course) need to set the amount of time for which you want the oven to heat. You do that with another timer, but that would be the "Cook Time." If you want to heat something at 100% power, you can set the "Cook Time" timer with the door closed (or open--your choice). However, if you want to use any power level less than 100%, you need to set the power level with the door open, and you have to choose the "Cook Time" first (before choosing the power level). You COULD set the "Cook Time" with the door closed, and then open the door to set the power level, but the only reason that would be the likely sequence (as far as I can see) is if you initially intended to cook at 100% power and, after setting the "Cook Time" with the door closed, you changed your mind and wanted to use a power level less than 100%. In that case (as noted above), you would then need to open the door to choose the desired power level.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not have to open the door for the timer. Simply take your finger and slide it across the designated area back and forth to adjust the timer for more time to the right or less time to the left. You may also touch the arrows for 10 second intervals to add tome or take off time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not have to open the door to set the timer as long as you are wanting to cook at 1,00 percent power. Anything less than 100 percent, then yes, you have to open the door and adjust the cook power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no you do not
