• Very close to 7 inches. We were expecting larger, but it's adequate for most purposes.

• Hi Wootsie. The specifications for the LG 0.9 cu. ft. NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and EasyClean®, Model # LMC0975ST do not specify what the height from the glass tray is. They only give an interior W x H x D dimension for the cavity which is given as 12.6" x 8.97" x 13.19", so figure the tallest cup/glass/container you can fit in there will be about 8.5"...^IFV
