• Due to the turntable, there are not any hot spots that I’ve seen. However, when defrosting meat, try not to defrost longer than needed or the meat will start cooking at the edges. This microwave heats up very quickly so start with less time and adjust accordingly. With the power and other convenient features I highly recommend this microwave. I have the 1.5 cu model, which is the perfect size.
