    • Answer The front of the refrigerator door are NOT MAGNETIC they are made of aluminum. The sides are magnetic but you need heavy duty magnets to hold anything or they slide down. We bought heavy duty magnets from Amazon to hold our pot holders. We got the black stainless steel one delivered 2 weeks ago.

  • QuestionI have a walled enclosure for the refrigerator that is 36" deep and 34" wide. Specs say installation clearance of 1/8" on sides, but then a door edge clearance of 2.25". Will this refrigerator fit flush in the enclosure and be able to open the doors?

    • Answer The Energy Star® Qualified LG Standard Depth 24.5 cu. Ft. 3-Door French Door Refrigerator with NEW Hybrid Handle Design and External Ice and Water Dispenser, Model # LF25H6330D, has a depth of 46.6875" with the doors open 90°, a width of 41.625" with the doors open 90° (includes the handles), and a width of 50.8125" with the door fully open past 90°. The door edge clearance of 2.25" is with the doors open 90°, but doesn't included the door handles. The door edge clearance with the doors open 90° with the handles is 4.75". So to answer your question after taking the above information into consideration, the refrigerator will fit in your enclosure since it has a width of 32.9375". If you add the 1.8" (0.125) clearance for the sides, the width is 33.1875 which is 0.8125" less than 34" (0.40625" less for either door). The refrigerator has a depth of 35.9375" (includes the handles) and with an installation clearance of 2" in the back, that means the refrigerator's depth will be 37.9375" from the wall to the door handles which is about 2" (actually 1.9375") past the depth of your enclosure, so you should be able to open the doors 90°, or wider...^Ivan.

  • QuestionWill this fridge fit in an opening 36” wide from wall to side of cabinet?

    • Answer Yes it can. The refrigerator measures just less than 33 inches wide. The only problem we had was that the appliance needs a door opening to the kitchen to be about 30 inches wide. With the trim on our doors the openings were all around 29 inches wide. We found a back door which opened to 30.25 inches, This worked.

    • Answer If it’s going to be placed tight to a wall you would not be able to open the doors. The depth of the fridge without the doors is 30” and you’ll want 2” extra at the rear for water hook up and ventilation. So, the wall or cabinet could only be 32”deep or the doors wouldn’t open properly. Try to visit a store and even if they don’t have this 33” model on the floor it’s all but identical to the like design 36” model, you could check the door swing and decide for yourself.
