A:AnswerAfter speaking to both LG and Best Buy support representatives, it was determined that the water hose hookups were inverted during installation. The installation company came back out and reversed how the hoses were setup and now the washer works as I would have expected.

Maybe there was a rest of abrasive cleaning solution left on the cloth that wasn't noticeable until it mixed with water? A:AnswerI think mine came with hoses, but I got new braided steel ones when I had mine installed. YOu do need to purchase the electrical cord for the dryer if it is not a gas dryer.
