Does this unit have a heating element for drying or does it just use steam? null

It does not have a heating element.  It uses a condenser to remove the moisture from the air (similar to an AC unit) and then drains the water away.

The machine does use steam, but the dishes are always dry, there is always a little moisture left on the interior door. (No problem)

Hello, The dishwasher uses what LG calls a "hybrid" drying system which effectively dries dishes without using a heating element. The drying system is dependent on a rinse aid though, and a lamp will illuminate if the rinse aid is low. The drying system is dependent on a rinse aid.^Venette
