Yes, the counter display continues while the cycle is running
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The LED panel on the top has a countdown timer that is displayed the entire wash cycle. I think you can turn it off in the app if you wanted to. I use the app to check the time remaining normally and you set set it up to notify you when its finished.

Please try again later.yes but you cant see it very well. there is only a small gap between the bottom of the counters and the top of the unit and you can position yourself to see the timer. there are three small status lights on the front that tell you where your at in the cycle and the online LG app gives you status as well.

When the cycle and options are selected, the display shows the total estimated time to complete those selections. During operation, the display shows the remaining estimated operating time. ^Daphane
