QuestionWhat recirculation or conversion kit is needed for this convertible range hood? I can't find any information on this on the LG website or the installation manual. Is this really a convertible hood? Thanks.

- Answer If using the LG STUDIO 30'' Wall Mount Chimney Hood, Model # LSHD3080ST in recirculating mode, you will have to secure the air diverter plate onto the wall before installing duct work & duct covers. You will also need to install charcoal filters and brackets. The air diverter is already in the hood & the duct cover bracket & duct cover are included accessories and the charcoal filters have to be purchased separately. The brackets for those are pre-installed...^IFV

To install the LG Studio 30" Convertible Range Hood (Model: LSHD3080ST) in recirculating mode, you will need the following: - Air diverter plate: Secure the air diverter plate onto the wall before installing ductwork and duct covers - Charcoal filters: Purchase and install charcoal filters for effective re-circulation - Brackets: Install brackets for the charcoal filters The air diverter plate is already included with the range hood, while the charcoal filters and brackets need to be purchased separately. The difference of 4" listed for the ceiling heights that the LG STUDIO 30'' Wall Mount Chimney Hood, Model # LSHD3089BD accommodates on our product page and in the owner's manual may be due to the differences between the minimum ducted hood height (27") and the minimum recirculated hood height (31").
