Does the fan blow in the bake option? null

I've been out of town and haven't used it in awhile but to the best of my memory, the fan first of all doesn't run while it's in preheating mode--and doesn't run while in the regular baking mode. I've used both convection and regular bake so I honestly can't tell you for sure--but I don't believe the fan runs in regular bake mode.
