Hi there, Amy! Thank you for your question about the WDES9428F model and its Sabbath mode. In Sabbath mode, the oven does not display the temperature on the panel to comply with certain guidelines. The temperature can still be set before activating Sabbath mode, but the display will not show it during operation. Please try again later.Hello Amy, We have not personally used Sabbath mode, but according to the manual, "while the oven is in Sabbath mode, the temperature cannot be change and the timer, light, and alarm functions are disabled. Only the cooking mode and set temperature appear in the display. On double wall ovens, either or both ovens can be put on Sabbath mode". I hope this helps.
