  • QuestionDoes this model have a heating element on the bottom of the oven? My current model LG induction range does not & I have issues when baking certain things that basically require heating from the hottom.

    • Answer The LG STUDIO 6.3 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Smart Electric Induction True Convection Range with EasyClean® and Air Sous Vide - Essence White, Model # LSIS6338NE, does not have a heating element in the bottom of the oven. LG Convection ovens do not have a bottom heating element because they rely on a fan to circulate hot air throughout the cooking chamber. This design enhances cooking efficiency and browning of food by ensuring that hot air reaches all surfaces of the food, promoting uniform cooking. The absence of a bottom heating element is integral to the design and function of convection ovens, which use "forced convection" to distribute heat evenly. This contrasts with standard ovens that rely on radiant heat from the top and bottom elements. The fan in the convection oven ensures that hot air reaches all surfaces of the food, contributing. It is normal for the convection fan to operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle in the oven. This is to ensure even baking results..^Ivan.

  • QuestionCan you order this with different handles and knobs? I understand you can switch them out, but I don't want to pay for a different finish. If you cannot order with a different finish, does LG swap them at no cost?

While you can switch out the handles and knobs yourself, LG does not provide a service to swap them at no cost. If you prefer a different finish, it’s recommended to purchase compatible handles and knobs separately and install them yourself.
