I will add that walking within 10-15 feet of my microwave when cooking / heating something up causes interference even if I'm holding the iPhone in my hand or pocket. I don't seem to have this issue with portable Bluetooth speakers sitting next to the microwave - ofc the portable speakers appear to be well shielded vs these very light earbuds.
