Will headset work with motorcycle helmet to answer calls and hear GPS directions? Will this headset work with a 3/4 helmet (motorcycle etc.)? I need to able to answer my phone without having to use my hands while riding and hear GPS directions from Google Maps and Apple Maps.

This headset will allow you to answer the phone by simply pressing one button on the left side of set. You will hear the phone ringing, however it does not announce who the caller is. It will allow you to hear the directions from google maps. I use this headset while driving commercial motorcoaches.

It worked with my bike, but I have a modular/full face helmet. You can easily hear the directions, but with a 3/4 helmet, unless you have a big windshield blocking the wind, I can't imagine that anyone would be able to hear you with the wind noise.
But the buttons on this one are large and easy to operate with gloves on for me. You would have to take one hand to the left side to push the button to answer a call unless you have your phone set to auto answer. I was able to answer calls and with my Shoei Neotech helmet and was told there was "no wind noise" So I've been pleased with that performance as well as a better overall design improvement from previous models.
Maybe that's enough reason to make the switch to a full face helmet?

Yes it will. The headset is lightweight and sits around your neck. While the ear plugs just plug right in your ear.

You can answer the phone, however your caller may not be able to hear with all the background noise while on the motorcycle

I use this with my motorcycle helmet to listen to music, audio books, and also directions through the Google Maps application on my cellphone. It will work together with the GPS and the music at the same time. If you answer a call you will be able to hear the other person however they will probably not be able to hear you without the mic being right next to your mouth.

Regrettably, we do not have any experience or familiarity with motorcycle helmets and to complicate matters, motorcycle helmets may come is different sizes so without knowing the helmet size, it cannot be determined how well the LG TONE PRO™, Model # HBS760 would fit in your helmet. The best advice we can give would be that you visit a local Best Buy with your helmet and ask if they have a floor model headset that you can try out...^IFV
