Yes it vibrates twice and says trying to connect. I've never had a low battery issue I use them from 8am til 9pm in the evening and the battery never runs lower than medium. I had this same headset lasted 3 years til I ruined the one ear piece. It's an amazing Bluetooth I have a personal and work phone and can connect them both at the same time. It works like call waiting when your on one phone and the other phone rings it beeps and you can click over to your other phone.

Please try again later.When the Vibration Alert on the LG TONE Ultra α™ Bluetooth® Wireless Stereo Headset, Model # HBS-830 is turned On, it will vibrate to alert you on incoming calls and when the connected device is out of effective communication range (33 feet / 10 meters), and the communication signal becomes weak and the communication is lost. If the device comes back within effective communication range, the product automatically reconnects to the device. If the device is not automatically reconnected, you can press the Call button on the product to connect to it manually. If a device that is not in use goes out of communication range when multiple devices are connected, the product vibrates and a voice message indicates that the connection is lost. In this case, the automatic reconnection function is not supported. A Voice prompt will indicate if the status of the battery is High, Medium or Low. You can slide and hold the Volume jog switch in the volume down (‐) direction for 1 second to check the Indicator lamp and battery level by voice. The indicator lamp will flash blue three times to indicate a 'Sufficient' charge, flash purple three times for a 'Normal' charge and flash red three times for an 'Insufficient' charge...^IFV
