Works well I love the additional water functions gives about two inches of water above the load height
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The amount of water that the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 cu.ft. MEGA Capacity TurboWash® Washer, Model # WT5480CW adds when the Water Plus feature is activated cannot be determined. When you load your clothes into the washer, select your cycle and select any modifiers or options, after you press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle, the washer will agitate briefly without water to measure the weight of the load to determine how much water to use for the load based on the size of the load. To add more water to the wash, you can use the Water Plus option. The washer has a maximum water level and once the washer reaches that level, the Water Plus option will have no effect. You can add more water to any cycle except the Bulky/Bedding cycle. As for the washer being BPA free, BPA (Bisphenol A.) is found in polycarbonate plastics that are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles. They may also be used in other consumer goods. Regrettably, we do not have any information on what type of plastic is used for the various small plastic components in the washing machine...^IFV
