• This is a true 4K and Blu-ray player. I'm watching the new 4K disc of Jurassic World right now and its awesome. This player is well worth the money. I'm using the player with a newly purchased Vizio 70 inch flat screen I purchased from Best Buy recently. A great match. Enjoy!

• Yes. Plays all formats. Video quality is very good, better than my old Sony blu ray player with standard 1080p blu rays. In the settings you can specify 4k, 2k, or auto resolution output.
