“I Have a 2k monitor with HDMI /Displayport inputs.Will this player play 4k movies on it to it,s maximum resolution 2560x1440p?I know my monitor is 2k,but curious if i will get near to 4k resolution using HDMI cables(4k) or Displayport cables(4k).”

yes it will play 4k movies on it cuz the player is 4k so it will play the 4k movies on your monitor with no problem especially using HDMI cables or Displayport cables (4k) so go ahead and enjoy your movies with vivid color and graphics
