• This is going to be dependent on your carrier's bandwidth allowance. Every carrier can limit the bandwidth of mobile hotspot tethering based on the service you're paying for. This does not include any other bottlenecks or service issues that can limit the connection, or how far you are from the phone itself if you're using WiFi / Bluetooth tethering. There are sometimes way to circumvent this limitation.... but this can very easily break the ToS of your carrier service.
