• It Works just fine without a SIM card, It just uses the phone it's tied to.

• Yes, you can use this watch without a SIM card. All functionality that are not dependant on a stand alone SIM are working perfectly fine. I use my watches without a SIM, have no issues whatsoever.

• Yes you can and everything works the same. It'll either work with your phone or standalone through WiFi. That's how I use mine.
