“Hi, I have noticed scratches on my cds after playing them in this model, brand new cds that I have checked before putting them in and then when taking them out they have these little criss cross scratches. Is this a common complaint?”

I am not aware of this issue as a common compliant. Hi Cam. It's not an issue for me because I'm deliberate and careful removing the CD. Now I am, anyway, because I used to take them out with my own convenience in mind rather than being patient about it until I got sick of scratches. Sliding trays are trickier than top loading trays.
