Almost! After a period of inactivity the speaker senses this and goes into a low-power state of just a half a watt. It uses just enough power to perk back up in case you start playing music again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not found any indication of an auto-off feature. But it is battery-powered, so, unless you connect it through the charging cable to a wall jack, it will eventually run out of power and need to be recharged. The manual says a full charge lasts 12 hours. I can find nothing in the manual that says that anything bad will happen if it is left plugged in all the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The simple manual doesn't say anything about an auto-off feature. You'll probably want to refer to the more comprehensive owner's manual online via the LG site.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The PK3 does have an auto-off feature. If you do not play music and do not press button for 15 minutes in Bluetooth mode, this unit is turned off automatically. Or if there is no button operation for 6 hours in portable input mode, this unit is turned off automatically. ^CP
