I think using the word "put" in water may be a bit strong. The case is water resistant, and will protect the device, but you cannot submerge it to very much depth. Recall that water is heavy, and the deeper you go in the water, the more pressure it applies, and the more likely it is to overcome the seal on the case. This case is labeled to protect the device in very shallow depths. Please do not take it diving. It is not made for that kind of pressure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. But, if you drop it in water for a brief amount of time, it should be already. I'd take the case off afterwards and blow dry it as much as possible to keep the moisture from ruining the device though.
