Due to the case being water PROOF not resistant... it makes sound difficult to travel through the case smoothly. I use earphones to fix this issue. You can actually submerge your phone in this case and use it. Which is why the instructions in the case box tell you to test the case underwater. :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think that the case attenuates the incoming sound when using phone without speaker. Try increasing volume and enable HD Voice on phone if you have such features. I use a hands-free Bluetooth headset so I have no problems.
