Yes up to I believe 30 meters. They recommend that you put the case together without the phone in it, submerge it in water for I believe 10 or 30 minutes and if there are no leaks then put the phone in the case. I have had mine out in the rain, as I climb & trim trees for a living, and have had zero issues with water. I will tell you this though, I have found it difficult to hear calls without enabling the hearing aid option on the phone and being in a semi-quiet area. Also, I have a bubble on the screen from the case's screen protector that I am unable to get out.
