They recommend that you put the case together without the phone in it, submerge it in water for I believe 10 or 30 minutes and if there are no leaks then put the phone in the case. I have had mine out in the rain, as I climb & trim trees for a living, and have had zero issues with water.
I will tell you this though, I have found it difficult to hear calls without enabling the hearing aid option on the phone and being in a semi-quiet area. Also, I have a bubble on the screen from the case's screen protector that I am unable to get out.
A:AnswerI'm not sure. But I will tell you that I used one of their covers for my tablet. My dad left my tablet on top of my car after he buckled my son in. About 5 miles up the road it went flying off at 55 mph. The case was cracked but the samsung tablet was unharmed. These are the only cases I buy for my phones and tablets.
