- Answer The Fre has a screen protector, a clear plastic cover built into the case that protects the screen. The Nuud does not, the case forms a seal around the screen. I've been using the Fre on my Galaxy S4 for almost a week, and I'm very unhappy with the sound quality.

- Answer I had the same thing happen to mine last week. Contact Life Proof directly and they will honor their warranty. You went with Life Proof for a reason, use their services and it will work out fine!! Getting a new one in the mail as I type, should be here in 48 hrs. Life Proof is the ONLY way to go for cases!!
