Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your sound/voice is not muffled to the person you are talking to but you do hear a slight change from the sound/voice being communicated to you. Speakers are covered so the sound is released on the back end near the external battery.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. the front speaker is not even covered. So it doesn't make any difference if the cover is on or not while talking. Haven't heard any complaints from the person on the other side. So I am assuming no problem there too.
