Overall, I really like this case. It feels like my battery life is doubled with the phone. My primary complaint is the charger. The case requires a micro USB, which is inconvenient for most people because it is less common than you're regular Apple USB charger. The charger does not lock into place well at all with the charger that comes with the case. Because of this issue, the phone may appear to be charging, but if you nudge it the wrong way, it stops charging! Many a time have I woken up to this phone not having charged the night before. Needless to say that is a struggle, but easily resolved if you find a higher quality one elsewhere. It is also more difficult to find a car charger for this case. Everything else is great. I love that I have about double the battery life so I don't have to worry as much about it dying at the wrong time! It's waterproof and sturdy, which is critical if you are outside a lot or you have a tendency to accidentally drop your phone. I would definitely recommend it! Hopefully the kinks are worked out soon with the charger and I'll consider this a 5-star product!

This is a good tuff case with a battery backup. Pretty much does as it says and doubles your phone battery time, sort of. Really your phone battery drains like normal then when you press the button it charges the phone with the on board battery once. Case is waterproof up to 6 feet deep for one hour tho I never tested it to that extent it survived many drops and several dunks under water to clean off. Battery and waterproof does mean that it adds weight and size. Turn my iphone6 into a solid little brick and although tight it does still fit in my pockets (even my accessory side pocket in my carpenter jeans). My only gripe is the headphone jack is a little small. This limits you to headphones with small Jacks and no 90 degree heads, they have to be straight with minimal rubber on the jack head although it does come with a screw in extention that seals and waterproof the case and allows the use of any headphones, but it always stays in my car so it's not always convenient. This case and a small solar charger got me through a week of backpacking in Yellowstone without any trouble.

This case will keep your iPhone dry. This case will keep your iPhone charged. However, I would never use this as an everyday case. The screen makes it hard to type. Adds significant bulk. You need to use the adapter (provided) to listen to plug in headphones. Touch ID works fine though. If this is your everyday case prepare to be frustrated with the touch screen and buy wireless headphones. I use this for long excursions when I won't be near a charger or when we go to a waterpark. Essentially it is my "vacation case"

I researched this case via Best Buy, Amazon, and other online customer reviews. Purchased it fairly close to its release date. I needed the ruggedness of a LifeProof case and the extended battery for my phone as I am extremely hard on the battery. Pros: The case is rugged. Very much what I've come to expect from a LifeProof case. It's not much larger than an Otterbox Defender case (except it is waterproof and has a built in battery. Good feel. Pretty durable (I've dropped the phone in the case several times and it's been fine.) Cons: The case is expensive. It doesn't use the iPhone Lightning cable, but rather a micro USB cable. Pass through works with my car stereo, but the charging feature is hit or miss with anything but the included cable. And it has some signal loss, which in turn causes the battery to drain slightly faster. The tradeoff is worth it -- I have more than ample battery life when I use the battery pack to recharge the phone, but it can be annoying.

I love everything about this Life Proof case! This is the first time I have bought another case for my iPhone other than an Otter Box. I was been waiting for a protective case that is strong, has a screen cover, and a built in battery pack. I carry my phone in my pocket so I didn't want to carry an extra battery charger pack too. This case does it all and then you add in it's water proof too, I mean come on! Yeah it's costs a bit more than most cases but what you get in return if far greater than purchase price. You will also come across some reviews saying how they don't like the "clicking" sound when they tap in certain areas of the screen, don't worry about it. It's not that bad. I mean I hear it from time to time but it doesn't bother me. The screen protector has a slight gap in it because it floats just above the screen on your phone. The touch ID area works flawlessly too! Oh yeah, it will add a little weight to your phone because it's adding a battery pack the case, so be prepared but it's no big deal. It feels solid in your hand, unlike some cheaply made offerings. I'm about to go buy a second one for my wife's phone. Pick this up!!!

Having already been through the IP6 fre and nuud offerings (both of which I did not like and returned), I was set to move on from Lifeproof. Then, they come out with this bad boy!! Great case that offers all the protection I need! The built in battery is amazing, offering more than a full charge available at the push of a button. Unlike the nuud and regular fre cases, I have had no issues with sound quality/ distortion, or touch ID functions. My only gripes are the built in screen protector that occasionally experiences the rainbow effect (I stress occasionally) and the micro USB charging port as I wish they could have figured out how to make it a lightning port...but that is a personal preference. Solid 4 star review!

Pros - the battery charges quickly Phone charges quickly from the battery case protects well, screen is more usable in water than a normal lifeproof Cons - The charging port uses micro usb and there is no lightning port My case will only charge when plugged into the wall, it wont sync with my computer. keeps disconnecting/connecting when plugged into my mac and when used with a usb extender from wall outlet. Phone is almost the size of a 6+ lol price.

Truly is waterproof! All of the great protection a life proof provides with the added bonus if a phone charger. Only down side is how bulky and heavy it makes your iPhone but that's a small price to pay in order to get the charger.

It's durable but pretty heavy to me, charges great, at least 1 full charge from 0-100, possibly a little more. My only complaint is that you are required to have the life proof charger, the regular mini usb charger does not charge the case at all.

I absolutely love Lifeproof and I love this case. It is tough and stands up to my life! I can accident my drop my phone and not have a mild heart attack in fear that it shattered the screen. Their customer service is awesome too. A case I had on an old phone lost its seal and waterproof-ness. I contacted their support, they had me do a couple things and in 1 day they got back to me with color options and 2-3 days later I got my replacement! I love that they came out with a battery option which is why I got this case. I can charge my phone while it's in my pocket and not have to worry about finding an outlet or leaving it somewhere for someone to take! It also charges super quick. The case doesn't add too much weight or thickness to the phone either. My ONLY problem with it is that it uses a micro port USB charging cord (like the ones for android) instead of the apple lightening cord. It also only uses the cord it came with and I have yet to find a knock off that will work. If you use a knockoff, the plugged in/unplugged noise goes on constantly.

The overall look of the case is really nice. It is a bit heavy but keeping in mind that it does have a battery its not too bad. The camera port allows for great pictures and I did not see any quality issues. I took it swimming and had the kids use it in the shower and it worked like a charm, not water damage. There was an issue for me with the touch screen, a slight (very) delay and sometimes miss tap happens, for the most part it responds very well. once in a while it does not respond correctly. taking the phone out of the case was not difficult, like I have had with other water proof cases. As for the call quality no one I spoke with complained about not hearing me and was told I was clear (when I had a good signal). Its a very nice case and I would recommend it, only con I found so far is the price.

Now I only charge my phone at night and then use my power case after it runs down. No more charging throughout the day! Love the protection of the case but hate that it is harder to hear someone when talking on the phone. Still love the case though.

Charges phone well Alittle bulky but worth it waterproof and I drop my phone a lot and it's just fine don't see much of a down fall other then it weighs a bit, Touch ID dose work but don't mess with it on the inside then it will mess up

I purchased this case because I wanted to take underwater videos and take pictures while scalloping off the gulf coast of Florida. The water is only about 10 feet deep so within the case's specs. Please test the case first before going underwater. I did this by putting the case together without my phone and submerged the case in a bag filled with water. No bubbles. Dried case off and no water on the inside. Installed case on phone. I would recommend, double and triple checking to make sure the case is as tight as possible. Took phone underwater for 10-15 minutes at a time. Shot videos between 1-4 minutes long. having the camera record for so long eats up the battery. Being in the gulf and just pressing a button to charge the phone was very helpful. Phone charged back to full after being depleted to 3%. I only use this case when I want to take my phone in wet environments as the case and battery does add bulk and weight to the phone. For the purpose I wanted this case, it worked perfectly and I would highly recommend.

Great case, and would get another if I needed to. It powered my phone from about fri morning until sun evening when i got another charger since I lost mine on a trip. It's a bit heavy but expected since it has the battery. I have a better grip of it with one hand compared to the regular life proof for my wife iPhone 6. That one would slip easily from my hand. Only negatives is that the screen can be unresponsive to touch every so often. And I would have preferred a lightning connecter than a micro usb. Other than that it's a great case.

I have this case for a little over a month now. Protection is good. Feels nice and heavy (after all has a backup battery). It makes my Iphone 6 heavy and bulky but is a small price to pay for that protection. I have taken the phone out to the beach, went in the ocean, and the extra juice helps me not to worry about my battery life. On most days, I charge my phone every 2 days (and I use my phone a lot!!) I almost forgot to mention the fingerprint. Works every time. If my hands are wet, I just have to dry them for the scan to work.

I didn't give this case 5 stars only because it's big and bulky and it couldn't fit in my pocket while at work. Of course, battery cases aren't supposed to be lightweight so if you don't have an issue with that then this is a great case to have. I must have charged up my phone 4 times during the day with this case so if you're constantly using up your battery life, you'll love this case.

I have now used three life proof cases. They all seem to be the best of the worst. Overall they have protected my phone well except with water. The thumb cover came off on every single one. I continue to use this case because of the battery pack. It's the most durable case with a battery pack. I have had multiple problems with charging and had to replace the phone because of water damage through the thumb cover missing and me not realizing. The benefit of the battery pack of this small with the drop protection is why I still use this case. If you decide to purchase always check to make sure you case is fully closed before walking through a creek or getting into water. A simple fix that has seem to work is a piece of tape over the thumb cover it seems to hold up the longest. I've used griffin tech and otter box, neither where any better and they didn't come with a battery pack. With battery pack is still equivalent in feel to a normal otter box case.

I have used the Life Proof cases for my last two iPhones and their cases are truly the best. While they may not come in fancy designs or hot colors, for investing a phone that is certainly not cheap, colors are not a priority. This one has a built-in battery pack so really makes it your one-in-all case! Never have to worry about having to plug in before battery dies on my phone again! Sturdy, water-proof (make sure you follow the manufacturer guideline) makes this case stellar!

I knew that Lifeproof made a great product but was happy to see that they made a case that not only protected my phone from the elements and my occasional clumsiness but also came with its own battery. I like the fact that I don't need to charge off an external battery when away from an outlet and when my phone has run low I simply hit the button on the back and it charges the phone back up to 100%.
