• The micro USB will charge both. First it will charge your phone and after that reaches 100%, then it will charge the case. It seems to charge the phone pretty quickly, but it seems to take a long time to get the case fully charged.

• Yes. It will first charge your phone and then the battery pack. You can also sync it with your computer using the the micro usb. You never need to take it out of the case.

• I have the case and the instructions says when charging case battery and iPhone the iPhone charges first and when completed the case battery charges.
