Can this case be used underwater to take pictures? I'm looking for an iPhone 6 case that will allow me to video/pictures under the water. More for snorkeling than scuba diving.

It can take pictures underwater. The touchscreen is unresponsive while submerged, so the camera needs to be open and the screen needs to be set to never sleep because you won't be able to slide to unlock if it turns off. Use the volume buttons as the shutter button while underwater.

This case comes with a blue plastic "iPhone" so you can test it under water before you place your actual iPhone on it. They recommend to test it under water for 30 min. then check for any leaks.

The phone can get wet, but would not use for under water photo use. The pressure from the water may damage your phone. Most phones that are water resistant can only be submersed for 3ft for 30 minutes.

Would not recommend to do that. Yes it can work to some depth, but I would look more at a go pro or something like that for what you are asking.

does work, just be sure to test that the case is still water proof before you go taking underwater pictures. the case comes with a plastic insert that you put in the case (instead of your phone) so you can test it. also its only water proof to a certain depth you should read up on that too.
