The rear speakers can be wireless; in fact, that’s what Bose anticipates as packaged. The center and front speakers are wired.

The two rear speakers and Bass Module will wireless connect to the media console. However, they both require being connected to power. The rear speakers will plug into the wireless speaker receiver(one cable per receiver). Should you have any more questions, we are always available to help!
