if your security fixture 100% cuts off power to the bulb, yes, it'll be fine. You'll need to go thru the setup in an fixture that can be on the entire time, then move it over. It will remember the color and brightness setting that it had when it lost power. However, some motion and photocell sensor fixtures dont completely cut power to the bulb, they just drop it way lower then an incandescent fixture would normally need, and that reduced power output will not only still light up a LED bulb a tiny bit, it will also damage the electronics. Buy a cheap LED bulb and put it in the fixture and see if it has any light at all when the sensor turns it off. If the fixture is recent, it should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will remember the last setting used.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the settings are remembered. I have four lights connected to a timer system, and for Christmas I have settings specified. The lights go on and off automatically and always retain the last setting that I have things calibrated too.
