QuestionIt comes with three 1m strips, but can you set up the three across a room from each other or do they need to be connected to each other and would you need another controller/power supply to separate them?

- Answer They need to be connected. The only other way around it is if you bought 3 separate strips with power sources.

QuestionCan it be cut to certain lengths or no?

- Answer You can cut them in half and expose the surface contacts to get two strips 1.65' each however it will be up to you and you soldering skills to reconnect them with fine wire. I used Cat 5 network cable wire and it works just fine.
