It will work fine with Comcast. However, keep in mind that this may be an issue with your Comcast connection to the modem versus a router issue. If you Ethernet-connect a computer directly to the modem, you can see if the problem is originating BEFORE the router. Your modem lights should NOT cycle all the time to "provide you with better service". This sounds to me that your Comcast connection may need work. I have had Comcast for years now, and while yes, they will occasionally upgrade service which would re-set your modem, it absolutely should not be a regular/frequent thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works great with Comcast Xfinity Blast internet service - using 5.0 increased download speed from 45-60 to 175-180 Mbps - also replaced Comcast/Xfinity modem/router with Arris TM822G to save $10/mo - works like a champ!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have had a Linksys router in our home for at least 12 years. Comcast has been our service provider for the entire time and we have only had to unplug the router two or three times in that entire period of time. Based on our experience the Linksys works very well with Comcast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast for an Internet provider and it works great for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, my route has four lights. I don't have phone. The lights are always on except if I power down/up. I truly love my new one except like I wrote - it is Comcast, not the router, I think. It is at the mercy of Comcast!!! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is having troubles. You need to get them to your location and check out the quality of your installation. If you can attache a laptop to your cable modem directly and have troubles with reliability on your Internet service, that should be positive proof that Comcast needs to check out your cable and cable modem setup. A technician has many tools at hand to do problem isolation. Minnesota Mike
