Bought this about a month ago as it was 1 of 2 that was recommended by the "router guy" at our Best Buy store in town. I wanted one that was easy to install and would handle our 3 PCs, all-in-one, & whatever Dish TV uses from it. It was easy to get everything up & running & I am a happy camper!

This router is powerful, it can reach my equipment thru multiple walls and rooms. The setup was simple and complete. I have amazing control over this router including giving prioritization to certain devices over others. It does everything I want it to, and nothing I don't. I love this router especially because its AC compliant which means its future proof. For once I am in the front and not lagging behind everyone else.

My new Linksys SMART Wi-Fi EA6900 dual-band wireless-AC router, has so far proved as an advancement very the Linksys WRT610N which I had to replace due to myself dropping it. I installed router in same location. I noticed an immediate increase in signal power. The guest connection option is nice for visitors and sets itself up as well. I hope to see nothing but positive reviews in the coming months.

Initially was torn between the linksys ac1900 and the netgear ac1900 nighthawk saw this one on sale so pulled the trigger. it was combined purchase along with a netgear cable modem set up for the linksys router required a few extra steps nothing that a novice cant do on their own setup is step by step guided by the info booklet everything else is done by the smartwifi interface up and running in a few minuted unless your like to configure your own settings manually antennas are a plus for directing signal strength up load speeds and download speed are pretty close to advertised which is also dependent on your ISP plan i have comcast 75Mbps plan and ran several speedtest resulting in 80-88Mbps which is amazing for home use all in all this is an amazing router prioritization setting are plus for gaming consoles or tables/phones worth the purchase if you have a lot of devices being connected to wifi

    Very Good Wireless Router

This is my second wireless router now, and both have been Linksys routers. My first was a trusty WRT54G, which I kept in service for over ten years. I would have continued using it, were it not for the fact that I have started to stream more HD video, and doing that wireless over a B/G network was obviously not ideal. I would have given it 5 stars, except that some of my wireless devices haev trouble connecting to it. Often rebooting the device itself, or sometimes the router will do the trick, but my WRT54G never needed a reboot. It had uninterrupted up-time of well over a year. Other than that, the performance is great. I like having a dual band access point, which allows all my devices capable of connecting within the 5GHz band to do so, and reduce the traffic in the 2.4GHz band. I would recommend this to anyone seeking an entry into the N/AC and 5GHz world of wireless networking.

    great wi-fi router

My old router just wasn't cutting it what with 2 new smart tvs, smartphones, computers, printers, directv, AmazonTV, Netflix, and so much more demanding growing access to the internet. Plus, the new place is a bit larger and requires more push of Wi-Fi signal to reach things. Love the dual MHz, and smart online management that even allows me control via my android smart phone, so I can manage my router from anywhere. Even better, I am able to easly setup certain equipment to get priority to improve and quicken their connections, like the newest curved 3d, UHD SmartTV in the media room which is a little further away from the router. It improved its performance immensely, as the router has also done for the rest. Upgrade was relatively easy, but for me, I needed online technical assistance, which went very very well. And we were up and running quickly. Thanks, Linksys.

Very fast, long range, easy setup, worth the money. Linksys is more superior than net gear, will never buy a merge at product again. I still have an old Linksys router with VoIP connection from 8 years ago, and works well

Best Router I Have Owned Yet

I upgraded from an earlier Linksys model that I was happy with but that lacked gigabit speed, a USB 3 port, and was not around when the AC standard became available. I did own a Netgear that literally melted due to insufficient heat handling in the past, and I swore off of them for routers - cheap switches I'm OK with Netgrear. This Linksys was in the Goldilocks zone for me in terms of features - not too much or too little for the price. It was the simplest to setup and I have had nothing but great performance out of it including the Seagate 5 GB USB 3 hard drive I have attached to it.

Good range and signal strength. Installation is fairly easy. No cd or software installation required. Had to change some settings on one of my laptops to be able to connect wireless to this router and Xbox 360 has had some connection issues with Xbox live. Didn't have theses problems with my previous linksys router. At $200 dollars it's a bit expensize. If not for this I would give it 5 stars. The smart wifi app is usefull.

Great WIFI router for large office or home

Bought this WIFI router for a larger home. There are multiple devices connected via WIFI at all times in my home and security is a concern. After set up, I got a free app whereby I can track which devices are WIFI connected through the router and I can also remotely adjust parental and password controls. The router set up took only 15 minutes but you do have to individually arrange initial access for all your in-home devices that are not connected via ethernet cable to the modem . This involves just using the set password so no big deal. My internet access is via cable modem connected to the router. You can set this router to provide both 5K and 2.4K dual band wifi to enhance download speeds though I have not yet tested the speeds to see exactly how much I'm getting. It seems to be working fine with no complaints from the users so I'm a happy camper.

moved from one state to another, while maintaining two households, I had to buy another router and modem. This one works so good that I replaced the stuff I had at the old house. In fact, we no longer need the Airport Expresses that I was using as extenders. Good buy, easy to set up, strong signal, dual band. So I have that wireless router problem solved for another few years...

I had an older Linksys 45 series router and the download speed was 8-9 mbs. I installed the new AC1900 and my speed shot up to 30 mbs. I need to cover about 1 sq acre with my wifi signal since I use it in the home and my business which is located away from the house. My signal strength in the shop used to be '2 bars' and now it is '5 bars'. I have up to 10 devices hooked into it via wifi and they all perform flawlessly and with good speed. I installed it in my attic above the garage and this greatly improves signal strength. My old router was in the same location so my comparison of the old and new is a fair one. I have a Motorola 3.0 modem in front of it so I wound up with a very efficient and strong system. It was very easy to set up as well.

We purchased this router to replace out Belkin a few year old router. We had frequent problem with old one - had to re-set it all the time. Lynksys router was very easy to set up, has very good controls, has great range, supports and handles multiple devices without any problems. Since setting it up we did not experience single interaption or outage.

I have a fairly small (1400 sq.ft.) home and it easily covers all corners and levels (2), my front and rear areas and garage on both bands. WPA2-SDK was a fairly simple and straightforward installation. After one really bad Linksys router (N610 - they should have been ashamed to release this one) the last two (N310 and this AC1900) have been gems

I had a Linksys E2000 router that some devices (both wired and wireless) wouldn't connect with or wouldn't stay connected. The EA6900 fixed all my issues and is faster along with having better range. I now have a strong signal on both floors of my house. Setup was easy. This router was a bit pricy, but well worth the extra cost.

The router was quick and easy to set up. The antennas which screw on don't want to stay tight, so if you adjust them, they tend to fall over. Otherwise, it has great signal strength and high speed. We can connect well into the parking lot in front of our building.

This is a great router. Initially, its range was poor but I realised that I did not put the antennas properly. Once that was done, the range almost doubled. In my case, I put it in my basement and had some trouble getting reception onto my second floor. I think my iphone 6plus has worse reception that my wife's G3 (she had reception). I ended returning this and getting the Linksys AC 3200 which is the best and solved my problem. If you have a medium to large size home and don't put the router far away in the basement, it will work well. No other issues. If you want to buy for 2-3 years down the line, get the 3200. It is about 100$ more but has more range, vpn and faster.
