A:AnswerMaybe. I was also losing the connection. First I exchanged the modem. Then Spectrum had to replace all the wiring from the pole to the house and then inside. i thought the router might be bad so I bought a new one. Spectrums technician looked at my old router and said the new one I bought was much better and I should keep it. You have to start with the service provider ( if its their modem, or yours they can check from the office) . Same with the router.
A:AnswerHello there. The Linksys - AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router should work since our Linksys devices are compatible with major ISPs. Just make sure that the connection from the modem is through an Ethernet cord.
