If your range extender has Ethernet ports on it, as most do, then yes, you can plug your PC's Ethernet port into the range extenders port, using a CAT5 or better Ethernet cable.

The extender receives BOTH giving me a maximum signal strength with great quality. In addition to a better signal/through put, you have a larger range for your notebook, tablet and/or smart phone.
