• Hi, tyler. Your PS4 will work with the Linksys RE6500. Also, if the LED is blinking orange/amber, then it means that the extender cannot establish a connection or encounters a problem.

• Not sure about the ps4, but the light is blinking orange because it's not connected to your wifi. The light will turn steady white when its connected.
