• Generally, just straight up vertical. You can move them around and see if it makes a difference, but generally not. Some folks like to put them in a V-pattern which can help with coverage..or just like it looks on the box.

• You can use just any postion that you would like. Our main modum is on the second floor and we get a very strong signal on the first floor. Hope this answers your question.

• I have the antennas straight up vertically, and the extender is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
