“Will this work to connect my Maytag washer to my wifi? Laundry is on the opposite side of the house and I cannot get machine to connect to the app on my phone. Keep getting unable to connect and I'm assuming it's the walls, garage, etc.”

The Range/Distance on the AC1200 is about 25 to 50 ft, depending on direct Line-of-Sight or Obstacles (& their density), in the path of Line-of-Sight. If you can place the Range Extender about 20-25 ft. away from Router, heading towards the Washer, and if the Washer is about 20-25 ft. from the Extender, then it should work OK. The Range Extender does support both the 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz Frequencies. But, be aware that the Range Extender will Not be the exact SSID/Name as your Router. It will be the SSID with "_EXT" appended to the orignal SSID/Name. Hope this helps.
