Mine covers 2,000 sq ft with negligible signal loss, and that's on the 5GHz band. 2.4GHz performs even better for range. You can resolve signal conflicts (if you set up an AP) through different channels. If you pick up neighbors' signals, you'll want to do that anyway.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.covers about 4000 sq ft
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2.4 is will go the normal distance for an N router because ac only runs on 5 GHz. Should cover 300 or so feet reliably. Though brick wall, plaster, certain paints will all affect this. Wifi does work better from higher to lower area. Hopefully this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the android tablets and phones there is a net analyzer app that is free and it will show you the strength of your signal as you move around in your house. Centrally locating a router can help cover the entire house, but so can a better router. If youare contemplating a router and an ap, spend all of that on a better router or look at a mesh wifi setup like an Orbi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Linksys is about 30 foot and three walls from where we use our computers, and the signal strength shows that I have all bars. Good signal.
