Does this router have an open NAT type out of the box like my other Linksys router? I have a Linksys E1200 which was recommended by Microsoft for gaming, especially on xbox/360/one, due to the OPEN NAT type out of the box. Thus requiring no port forwarding. Does this have the same?

Yes the box supports NAT out of the box. IT worked immediately after set up for 2 cameras.

Yes, this router includes NAT. In fact, of the many routers I have configured for NAT, this has the best interface. It seems to have an unlimited number of port forward instances, and has an easy to use table entry style and not the confusing "rules" method.

Yes, but there are lots of NAT features including DMT, Port and Port range forwarding as well as port triggering.

Hi Snowman. If your Xbox or other gaming consoles has an Open NAT when connected directly to the modem, then yes, it will have an Open NAT behind the router.
