• Yes that’s what we did. Ours is connected to our satellite. We now have WiFi

• Dave: I used Linksys technical support to set my router. I did have to plug into my modem to operate the router.

• Technically, you can, Dave; however, for it to acquire internet connection, you'll need to connect it to your modem.
