Hi, Motherof1. The Linksys EA6350 is a plain router. You need to have an Internet Service Provider in order to have internet access. When configured, you'll be able to share and connect multiple devices; both wired and wireless. Should you need more information, email us at [email protected].

With that, you can use the router to give you a wireless access point in your house and hook up 4 devices (in most cases) with Ethernet cable to share the data.

Tour Internet connection needs to be brought to your house by an Internet Service Provider, like Verizon, Comcast, RCN and other like them. Once they bring in the line to your home, you can plug in this line to this router, so it will expand the wired connection into a wireless signal.
