- Answer This is a fiber optic modem/router which is connected via ethernet cable, its not for cable service, it can probably work as just a router for cable but you will need a cable modem fist.

- Answer I have my computer connected to the router via wi-fi and it allows my full download and upload speed use (200Mbps/20Mbps). But to answer your question, It is powered by Broadcom BCM4708A0 @ 800 MHz chipset, 256 MB RAM and 128 MB flash. The AC1750 router is compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards, and the maximum speed that you can get with Smart WiFi AC1750 is 450 + 1300 Mbps.

- Answer Hello, REVMO. You can change the 2.4 GHz network name on its User Interface. Once you are in its UI, you'll just have to go to "Wireless" and change the name from there.
