QuestionThe Linksys router I bought at Best Buy was a R74. Is this the same as the AC1900?

- Answer yes if you look on the box it also says R74 EA7450 that is the model number, so if you look on the router you should be able to compare the model number with this model number.

QuestionHow many device connections will this router handle without difficulty? We have 1280 sq ft, 2 game systems, 3 cell phones, 3 TVs, 1 smart blu ray player and 2 laptops. Our current router doesn't handle well since we've added devices.

- Answer Not if you are on Mac OS 11 or 12. They haven't updated there USB controller in years. And the lovely customer service rep at Linksys just told me it only supports Windows. This was 3/28/22.
