There are no "limit" features beyond prioritizing other devices. The tri-band has "smart connection" technology that chooses which devices get put on which bandwidth. In respect to my experience with our old Linksys dual-band router, we had the ability to choose which devices were on the slower bandwidth, and which were on the faster one. They would be listed separately when you set up a wifi connection on a device like a PS4. You might want to look into a dual-band router if you want more control over your router settings. (side note, you can prioritize devices on a dual-band router as well)
