Our house is two stories and approximately 2,800+ square feet. I have the router in our basement on the north end of the house. The signal on the opposite end of the house AND upstairs is approx -70 which is GREAT! Three out of four bars on a cell phone. Our old router (extender) that I had to place half way across the house and in between floors only gave a signal of -85 to -90 which was worse and about the same strength as our neighbors which would interfere. I would definitely recommend this product! I was going to see if it covered the entire house and if not, get a wifi extender. No need!
