Yes, JimFromIL, the Linksys EA8500 can deliver a better range since it's already MU-MIMO Gigabit Router that supports data rates up to 800 Mbps for 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps for 5 GHz band with a combined data rate speed of up to 2.53 Gbps. However, the range will still differ especially with physical obstructions (e.g. thick walls) and wireless interferences from other networks.
