I contacted Linksys. They told me you can chain tow of them together

In wireless mode it is just picking up the signal and boosting it so I don't believe that it would make a difference if the unit is picking up the original signal from your router or if it picks it up from the repeaer to rebroadcast.

Basically this reduces the internet speed drastically. The best is to purchase the new routers which are coming in 3 units from the factory. I hope this helps.
